Which jewelry should I buy for a brand new piercing?
Implant-grade titanium, one size longer to leave room for swelling. We never recommend plated jewelry on a fresh piercing.
Does the jewelry arrive sterile?
No. Pieces are sold new and unused, but they are not sterilised before sale and, unless the product page says otherwise, are not sent in sealed or sterile packaging. For a new piercing we recommend having it fitted by a piercing professional.
I’m not sure about my size: what should I do?
Look at our size chart, and if you are still unsure send a photo of your current jewelry on WhatsApp (+90 555 770 21 68). We will work the size out together.
Can I collect my order from the shop?
Yes. Choose “Collect from the shop” on the checkout page and no shipping is charged. Address: Yukarı Bahçelievler Mah. Aşkabat Cad. (Eski 7. Cad) No: 47/2, Çankaya/Ankara. We email you when your order is ready.
Is there a warranty on the jewelry?
Yes, steel and titanium pieces carry a 6-month warranty. It covers two things: the piece does not tarnish or change colour, and the metal is the steel or titanium stated on the product page. On pieces with stones we guarantee the stones are zircon; on opal models the quality of the stone is covered too. A stone coming loose is not covered. Pieces made of steel and titanium together (belly bars) do not carry this warranty. If something is wrong, write to us on WhatsApp or by email with a photo.
Can I return a piece?
Yes. You can withdraw within 14 days of receiving the item, without giving a reason; we pay the return shipping and refund what you paid within the statutory period. The right cannot be used only for items made specially for you and for hygiene items whose product page says they ship in sealed packaging and whose packaging was opened. If an item is faulty, defective or sent wrongly, for two years we replace, repair or refund it.
Can you fit it in the studio?
Yes. At the Black Ink Art Tattoo Piercing studio, Yukarı Bahçelievler Mah. Aşkabat Cad. (Eski 7. Cad) No: 47/2, Çankaya/Ankara, we fit jewelry bought here for free the first time.
I’m under 18: can I order?
No. We do not sell to anyone under 18.
