PiercingLand is the jewelry side of the Black Ink Art Tattoo & Piercing studio. Same bench, same people.

I started out in 2013 with costume jewelry and accessory shops. Back then, as was common in the trade, I was piercing with a gun. A friend of mine, a surgical nurse, sat me down one day and explained: a gun is not safe, it crushes the tissue, and it cannot be sterilised. She gave me a short training, and in 2014 I started piercing properly.

I have been doing it ever since. In 2020 we opened our own studio in Bahçelievler, Ankara. What I love most about this trade is that there is no end to learning it. Every year brings better materials and better technique.

The reason we opened PiercingLand is simple: our clients kept asking where they could buy this. Most of what is sold out there is plated, most of it contains nickel, and most of it has no business being in a fresh piercing. Our jewelry is specially imported. What we fit on our own clients is what we sell here.
